We are proud that in a landscape awash with multinational corporations, Dairyworks stands apart as being a family owned, and operated, enterprise. Established in 2001, Dairyworks is built on the types of innovation that have made New Zealand a world leader in branded dairy products.
The company set up shop in the South Islands’ Temuka district after the company founders saw an opportunity to start supplying products the retail and foodservice trade were currently missing out on. The Alpine brand was launched into key supermarkets throughout the country. This was followed by the creation of the Rolling Meadow brand in 2006, the Dairyworks retail brand in 2013 and later Ice cream was added to the mix in 2015 with the purchase of the Deep South brand.
